Day 2 -

We’re going to look at forgiveness and overcoming shame
and how addiction goes hand in hand.

The more we engage in addictive behaviors, the more likely we'll feel shame around it, which becomes like a vicious cycle. Addiction feed shame and shame feeds addiction.


How do we break the cycle? Through forgiveness. Forgiving ourselves and forgiving others. When we change our thoughts from shame to forgiveness we can start to heal. Positive affirmations are a great tool for shifting our mindset and hopefully we'll start the process of changing our addictive behavior and setting ourselves free to live more fully in the present moment.

• I create a new life with new rules that totally support me.
• I am willing to change and grow. I now create a safe, new future.
• I lovingly take back my power. I release this old idea and let it go.

• I choose to handle all my experiences with love, joy, and ease.
All desire for my addiction has left me and I am free.
