Day 3 -

So we’ve talked about how important it is to build confidence from the inside out. It’s also vital to build it from the outside in. Sometimes we have to fake it till we make it meaning all of us get nervous when we have present ourselves out of out comfort zones.

All of us like to just be ‘ourselves’ so to speak and we fear that we as our authentic selves will not be enough. To get the job to get the date and so on Of course if our authentic selves like to bath every third day and like to hang out in sweatpants as our primary uniform that might not be the ideal self you want to bring into an interview for your next job.

How we speak how we dress how we, how we present ourselves communicates much or more about how we feel about our selves and can either detract from our confidence or support it, There’s an old saying the suit makes the man. There’s some truth to that since just like an actor gets into his role by putting on his costume and makeup to become the part So can we too can to play our life roles more effectively by looking feeling and acting the part dressing and acting the part.

How we hold ourselves in our bodies also influences our confidence levels. Having good posture with as straight back with an openness and a smile helps us to feel more confident and that is reflected back to us with how people engage with us. When we smile the world smiles with us, social psychologist Amy Cuddy has said Our bodies change our minds, and our minds can change our behavior, and our behavior can change our outcomes. The more we feel and the more we’ll be confident present
