Day 5 - Gratitude

No matter what desires or dreams we have or what goals we want to achieve, gratitude is a key ingredient. It acts as the glue for our success in life and well being. Gratitude helps us feel better and motivates us to be our best selves, which in turn boosts our self-confidence.

Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “Cultivate the habit of being grateful for every good thing that comes to you, and to give thanks continuously. And because all things have contributed to your advancement, you should include all things in your gratitude.”

We can start by merely being grateful for our existence; for our gifts and talents. Make gratitude a daily practice. When you’re in a negative mindset, it lowers self-confidence. Gratitude can be an energy boost, shifting you into a more positive, hopeful state of mind. And it’s accessible and easy to achieve.
