Day 7 - Embrace Challenge

The best way to increase our self-confidence is to, as Nike says, “just do it.” When we embrace challenge, going beyond our comfort zones, pushing the envelope, we test our beliefs in ourselves. And when we face the fear and walk through it anyway, just the experience of doing that, no matter what happens, builds self-confidence.


William James said, “Most people live in a restricted circle of potential. The reason that so many people never fulfill their potential is not a lack of intelligence, opportunity or resources, but a lack of belief in themselves.”


When we open up that restricted circle and believe in ourselves, it frees us to test the waters of our greatest potential. When we do that, we plant the seed to grow our self-confidence. And when we have self-confidence we can soar beyond our wildest imagination.
