Depression is more than just feeling sad or going through a rough patch. It’s a serious mental health condition that requires understanding, treatment and a good recovery plan. Depression brings about a series of side effects such as lack of interest, low self esteem, hopelessness, changes in sleep, and more.
It isn't an illness that you can simply "snap out" of. Depression require long-term treatment and constant care by a medical professional. But don't get discouraged. There are still exercises you can do to help your depression.
